Scenes Seen In Holmes County

We are a retired couple (Joe-NASA research/management & Judith-church secretary) now living in Holmes County, Ohio. We are both active in our church, Calvary Baptist, enjoy reading, genealogy, Joe-woodworking, Judith-quilting, and photography. The primary purpose of this site is to share some of God's creation, especially wildlife, that we see near our home.

A Belgian Nursery

These Belgian mares gave birth to their foals within the week. Foals are estimated to weigh 10% of their dam's weight or about 200 pounds at birth.Posted by Picasa
