Scenes Seen In Holmes County

We are a retired couple (Joe-NASA research/management & Judith-church secretary) now living in Holmes County, Ohio. We are both active in our church, Calvary Baptist, enjoy reading, genealogy, Joe-woodworking, Judith-quilting, and photography. The primary purpose of this site is to share some of God's creation, especially wildlife, that we see near our home.

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail

This butterfly is easily recognized by its bold, black stripes and bright yellow wings. It has a wing span of 3.5-5.5". This picture was taken on our butterfly bush.Posted by Picasa
