The Slate-colored Junco spends the winter looking for seeds that the other birds drop from the bird feeders. Occasionally they will get on the bird feeders. The top view is a female which is light gray in color while the male (bottom view) is somewhat darker. These little birds are about 5" long. They are also known as "Snow Birds".
